Our Puppy Adoption Process

At Oodle Crew, we want every family to feel confident, supported, and informed throughout the journey of adopting their new furry family member. Our adoption process is designed to ensure the best match between our puppies and their forever homes.

Step 1: Submit an Adoption Application

Families start by completing the RightPaw online adoption application.
This helps us understand your home environment, lifestyle, and preferences for puppy temperament, size, or colour.
We use this information to ensure our puppies are placed in homes where they will thrive and be loved.

Step 2: Application Review & Approval

Once we receive your application, we review it carefully.
We may contact you with a few questions to learn more about your family and experience with dogs.
Approved families are then invited to join our waitlist for upcoming litters.

Step 3: Join Our Waitlist

A waitlist application secures your place for a future litter.
Families are contacted in order of their application when puppies become available.
This ensures fairness and transparency in puppy selection.

Step 4: Puppy Match & Meet-and-Greet

When puppies are born, families receive regular photo and video updates.
Around 3-6 weeks of age, families are invited for a meet-and-greet appointment or a virtual video call.
We help guide you in selecting the puppy whose temperament best fits your family.

Step 5: Puppy Training & Socialisation

While waiting to go home, your puppy is raised with our structured training program, including:

Early socialisation with people and household sounds
Introduction to crate training and basic toilet training
Confidence-building activities and enrichment play
By adoption day, your puppy has already experienced a positive start to life.

Step 6: Adoption Day

Puppies go home at 8 weeks of age, after a full vet check, microchipping, and first vaccinations.

Care instructions and our comprehensive Puppy Handbook

Step 7: Ongoing Support

Our relationship doesn’t end on adoption day.
We offer lifetime breeder support for training, health, nutrition, and general advice.
Families are encouraged to stay connected through our Oodle Crew community and social media updates.
